Blepharoplasty

This surgical procedure consists of the removal of the excess skin, correction of the bags under the eye, toning the orbicular muscle and lifting flaccid tissues. A blepharoplasty can be performed in the upper and lower exterior lids, and also in the lower interior lid. Since the healing process is gradual, the patient should wait a couple of weeks to see results. Usually the incisions fade away after a couple of months and are almost imperceptible.
